May 2-6, 2025: Policies Regarding Use of Dumpsters

Twice a year, The Trails HOA provides roll off dumpsters for our neighbors’ convenience. Please follow the below guidelines to make sure that this benefit is available to all.

Dumpsters will be available May 2-6.

REUSE, RECYCLE! When possible, use options like donating to Goodwill; recycling (check out the long list of items you can recycle at Eco-Cycle CHaRM); and composting. If you have items that are too large to recycle in your bin, contact Waste Management to schedule a special pickup.

• Open the door of the dumpster and carry your items to the back so that others can add items after you are finished.

• Stop adding items once the trash has reached the top of the dumpsters. Contents must be inside the dumpster and flush with the top.

• Steel: Place it at the back of the dumpster; it will be picked up separately.

  The following items are NOT allowed:

  ·         Batteries, computers, monitors, microwaves

  ·         Hazardous waste

  ·         Liquids including oil and paint

  ·         Tires

  ·         Yard waste
